BACKGROUND     ||     COMPANY PHILOSOPHY

In 2007, CHUI ARTS Ltd, evolved from ACHA GRAPHICS Ltd.Acha Graphics Ltd was incorporated as a Limited Company in Uganda in July 1994, commenced operations in September 1996 and was VAT registered in 1997.CHUI ARTS was established to bring high quality graphic and textile design services to Uganda, that can compete favorably in the international market .Graphic Design, Publishing and Corporate Identity Products These are our long term specialty areas with many successful projects to our credit.
Textile Development
Following the development of several successful African designs, we have produced in house a clothing collection branded CHUI. This features a collection of ready to wear and specially tailored garments for the whole family. We also develop textiles for all occasions including weddings, corporate events, uniforms, gifts and furnishings. The designs are unique and inspired by unadulterated elements of Africa in their purest form. They have a strong wild African inrn re descriptive avour and feature descriptive titles such as “Calabash”, “Jungle Fever” and “Kitobero”. The designs are screen-printed on a range of fabrics, mainly cotton. In future, we intend to include a home furnishing range of fabrics to accompany the clothing collection. Our retail outlet can now be found at Mukisa House, Lugogo Showground in Kampala, with a new outlet in the city centre to be opened soon.
